Born in New South Wales, Australia, Carmel Rose (also known as Carmel Rose Nhung) is a versatile actress, model, and presenter who has built a diverse career across television and film. She developed her craft through rigorous training, graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Screen Actor Studio and the Australian Film & TV Academy (TAFTA).
Rose first gained significant recognition for her role as Rachel in the acclaimed 2013 SBS miniseries Better Man, where director Khoa Do praised her ability to bring depth and "star quality" to serious drama.
