Biografía completa
Melanie Moore is an American-born actress and model who achieved international recognition during the early 1990s. Born on March 1, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she spent much of her childhood as a "military brat," moving across the American Southwest from Missouri and Texas to Arkansas. Before entering the entertainment industry, she was an accomplished athlete and a competitive swimmer, reaching the state finals in the breaststroke during her high school years.
Moore’s career is most notably defined by her prolific work in the erotic drama and romance genres. She gained significant fame for her participation in the iconic Emmanuelle franchise, specifically the series of television films released in 1993 directed by Francis Leroi and produced by Alain Siritzky. She appeared in several installments of the series, including Emmanuelle’s Secret (Le secret d'Emmanuelle), Emmanuelle’s Magic, and Emmanuelle’s Perfume, often starring alongside legendary franchise lead Sylvia Kristel and George Lazenby. In these films, Moore’s performances were central to the series' transition into the 1990s television era.
Beyond her work in the Emmanuelle series, Moore was a highly active figure in the adult film industry during the early 1990s, where she was sometimes compared to a "blonde version of Cher" due to her distinctive facial features and tall, athletic frame. Throughout a career that spanned over 130 features, she was recognized with industry accolades, including an award from Adult Video News in 1993. After a brief but intense period of professional activity, she retired from the screen in late 1994, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most recognizable faces of the 1993 Emmanuelle collection.
