Historia

The story unfolds in Athens and a nearby enchanted forest. Hermia loves Lysander but is betrothed to Demetrius. Her friend Helena is in love with Demetrius. The lovers' plans become complicated when they enter the woods, where the fairy king Oberon and his queen Titania reign. Oberon commands his mischievous servant Puck to cause chaos among the mortals by giving them a love potion, leading to romantic entanglements and confusion. Meanwhile, a troupe of amateur actors rehearsing 'Pyramus and Thisbe' in the woods are also affected by the fairy magic.
