Argumento
In 1904 Manchuria, during the Russian-Japanese War, Sergey Karenin learns that the wounded Count Vronsky is involved in his mother Anna Karenina's past. Karenin approaches Vronsky and asks him about their relationship. After some hesitation, Vronsky agrees to recount the story of his tragic love affair with Anna Karenina, which occurred thirty years prior.
