Resumen
Black Sails is an American dramatic adventure television series set in the Golden Age of Piracy during the early 18th century. It serves as a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 'Treasure Island,' focusing on a group of pirates operating out of Nassau in the Bahamas. The series combines historical figures like Governor Woodes Rogers, Jack Rackham, and Anne Bonny with fictional characters such as Captain Flint and Long John Silver. Black Sails explores themes of power struggles, morality, and survival amidst the debauched paradise of New Providence Island, a haven for pirates, prostitutes, thieves, and fortune seekers.
