The 'Summer Camp' horror trilogy, once a popular franchise in the 1980s but now defunct, was directed by Julian Barrett. Barrett aims to revive his career with a modern reboot of his old splatter-fests, this time using reality filmmaking techniques. He returns to the original filming location with his former leading lady and ten young 'contestants' for the project. However, their plan takes a deadly turn when one of the campers is found brutally murdered. The survivors realize they're no longer just competing for fame and fortune; they're fighting for their lives as they discover that summer at this camp might be over – forever.
