Historia
Tim Lippe, a naive insurance salesman from Brown Valley, Wisconsin, travels to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for an important convention in hopes of saving his co-workers' jobs. Upon arrival at the hotel, Tim is out of his depth with the modern world and the sophisticated attendees. He meets three fellow insurance agents: Joan Ostrowski-Fox, Ronald Wilkes, and Dean Zeigler. Tim becomes smitten with Joan and impressed by Ronald's straightforwardness but rubs Dean the wrong way. Disheartened by corporate corruption, Tim struggles to adapt but eventually finds his footing and turns things around in his unique way.
