Argumento
In 1940s Northern Ireland, Ethel Ann falls in love with Teddy, a young man who eventually goes off to war. Years later, in modern-day Belfast, Jimmy finds a ring in the wreckage of a crashed World War II bomber plane on Cave Hill. He believes this ring belongs to someone still alive and travels to Michigan to find the last person seen wearing it, Ethel Ann, now an elderly woman who married another man after Teddy's presumed death. Jimmy persuades Ethel Ann to accompany him back to Belfast to meet the soldier who last saw Teddy alive, hoping to close the emotional circle and bring some closure.

Resumen
Directed by Richard Attenborough, 'Closing the Ring' is a drama film set against the backdrop of World War II. The story weaves between past and present, centering around Ethel Ann's love for Teddy and Jimmy's quest to reunite her with the ring and any remaining connections to her lost love. Despite the limited plot details available from sources, the film seems to explore themes of love, loss, and closure.
