Historia
In a dystopian future, the U.S. government organizes an annual, deadly cross-country race called 'Death Race 2000'. Participants score points by hitting pedestrians with their armed vehicles. This year, Frankenstein, the legendary and mysterious returning champion, has a secret passenger from the underground resistance. He's joined by four other teams, each consisting of one man and one woman. The race begins, and the competitors drive across America, wreaking havoc and killing innocents for entertainment.
Resumen
Directed by Paul Bartel in 1975, 'Death Race 2000' is a dystopian sci-fi action comedy that spoofs reality TV shows. The film uses the premise of a deadly race to critique societal violence and voyeurism, set against a backdrop of totalitarian rule. Despite its serious themes, it maintains a satirical tone throughout.
