Historia
Roberta Glass, an unhappily married housewife from Fort Lee, New Jersey, becomes fascinated with Susan, a free-spirited woman she reads about in personal classifieds under the title 'Desperately Seeking Susan'. Roberta goes to Battery Park hoping to see Susan and ends up buying her iconic leather jacket. In the process, she suffers amnesia and begins living as Susan. This leads her to cross paths with Dez, a friend of Jim's (Susan's admirer), who mistakes Roberta for Susan. Meanwhile, a criminal named Wayne Nolan is after Susan due to some priceless Egyptian earrings she has in her possession. As Roberta's memory starts to return, she tries to navigate this complex situation while also dealing with her husband Gary searching for her and Jim returning to look for Susan.
