In the year 2140, society has shifted to a matriarchy after a devastating biological war wiped out much of humanity's population. 'Two Hills' is one such community where women have taken charge and created a perfect, peaceful society that values harmony, science, reason, and environmental protection. History teacher Rada takes her students on a birthday tour to an area outside Two Hills where 'primates,' men who choose to live beyond female control, reside. When Rada meets young male 'primate' Hera, their meeting threatens the tranquility of Rada's perfectly arranged world. It's a classic girl-meets-boy story in this unique, gender-reversed society.
