Argumento
Fire on the Amazon follows American photojournalist O'Brien who arrives in Bolivia's Amazon basin to investigate the murder of Santos, a charismatic leader of the rubber tappers union. Believing an innocent Indian has been framed, O'Brien teams up with Lysa Rothman, Santos' former colleague, and together they uncover corporate interests behind the deforestation causing unrest among the indigenous peoples. As they dig deeper, they discover that Santos was assassinated for his activism against the cattle ranches replacing the rainforest. O'Brien and Lysa fall in love while evading police suspicion and facing threats from those who want to silence them.
