Historia
Garden of Earthly Delights tells the story of a terminally-ill art historian who meets an engineer and falls deeply in love with him. Despite her impending death, she decides to make the most of her remaining time by taking him on a trip to Venice. The city's rich artistic history serves as both the backdrop and inspiration for their passionate love affair. As they explore the city and each other, they engage in physical passion and emotional discovery, threatened only by her looming illness.
Resumen
Directed by Lech Majewski, Garden of Earthly Delights is a luminous exploration of art, love, and death, based on Majewski's own novel 'Metaphysics'. The film is a drama and romance that follows the intense connection between an ill art historian and an engineer. Set against the backdrop of Venice and its renowned artistic heritage, particularly inspired by Hieronymus Bosch's 'The Garden of Earthly Delights', this movie is a sensory journey into the depths of human emotion and mortality.
