Il maledetto (The Damned) follows Michele Anacondia, a criminal associated with the Apulian mafia, whose wife urges him to strive for greater power. After their son dies in an ambush, Michele retaliates by killing half of the rival gang, earning him promotion from the boss. However, when his enemies burn down his residence, he takes them in, leading to a plot twist where Michele kills the godfather and assumes control of the Sacra Corona.
