"Klimt" weaves together the captivating life story of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt and his revolutionary impact on art nouveau during Vienna's fin de siècle opulence. Dying in a hospital bed, Klimt's mind drifts through memories: Paris' World Exposition where he encounters Georges Méliès and possibly Lea de Castro; his vibrant studio filled with canvases that echo his scandalous liaisons; and his complex relationships with his mentally ill mother and sister.
