Argumento
The story follows Marie (Miou-Miou), a young woman from a working-class family who falls in love with Gerard (Daniel Duval). However, she soon discovers that he is a violent and manipulative pimp who forces her into prostitution. Throughout the film, Marie suffers physical abuse and psychological degradation at the hands of Gerard. Eventually, she decides to leave him to regain control over her life.
