Historia
Nicolas (Ricardo Darin), a toy designer and war widow Ingrid's (Irene Jacob) second husband, develops a close bond with her son Raul (Victor Valdivia). He shares stories about fairies that guided him as a child, including showing Raul his childhood shack in the woods. Nicolas's relationship with Ingrid deteriorates, but he remains close to Raul. One night, Nicolas meets Sezar (Bebe), a grocery clerk beaten by her boss after being harassed by gangs. He takes her to his shack for safety. The next morning, Raul finds Sezar and, not knowing who she is, believes she's one of the fairies from Nicolas' stories.
Resumen
La educación de las hadas (2006) is a Spanish drama directed by José Luis Cuerda. It explores themes of love, loss, and the blurred line between fantasy and reality through the eyes of a young boy named Raul. The film delves into Raul's relationship with his stepfather Nicolas, who shares stories of fairies guiding him in his childhood. When Raul finds Sezar at Nicolas' shack, he interprets her as one of these fairies. While the plot focuses on Raul's perspective and experiences, it also touches upon the strained marriage between Ingrid and Nicolas.
