The story follows three nuns—Sisters Iphigenia, Margarita, and Carla—who are the last remaining members of an enclosed order of St Agnes living in isolation on a remote coastal convent. Their quiet existence is disrupted by the arrival of Father Ignatius, a young priest who seeks to sell their prime real estate. The unwelcome visitor challenges their secluded life, leading to a psychological game of survival where the nuns become criminals and Father Ignatius confronts his personal weaknesses.
