In 'Land of the Dead', the world has been overrun by zombies, and humanity's remnants have barricaded themselves within a walled city called Fiddler's Green. The wealthy residents live in luxury high-rises while the poor survive on the streets. A group of survivors led by Riley (Simon Baker) embarks on dangerous scavenging missions outside the city to retrieve valuable goods from the zombie-infested wasteland. Among them is Cholo (John Leguizamo), who secretly plans to steal a powerful weapon called 'Dead Reckoning', capable of breaching the city's defenses, and sell it to the ruthless warlord Kaufman (Dennis Hopper) in exchange for wealth and power.

Resumen
'Land of the Dead' is George A. Romero's fourth film in his 'Dead' series, set in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies have risen and taken over. The movie explores themes of class divide among the surviving humans within Fiddler's Green and the dangers posed by both external zombie threats and internal human greed. Unlike previous films in the series, 'Land of the Dead' features evolved 'smart' zombies who exhibit signs of intelligence, communication, and strategy – a notable change in Romero's trademark zombie lore.
