Historia
In 'The Last King of Scotland', young Scottish doctor Nicholas Garrigan travels to Uganda for an adventure after completing his formal education. He arrives during the overthrow of President Obote and the rise of General Idi Amin as the new ruler. Amin, impressed with Garrigan's skills, appoints him as his personal physician. The story unfolds as Garrigan navigates the vibrant yet dangerous world of Amin's Uganda, becoming entangled in the dictator's web of power, polygamy, and mass murder.
