Historia
The story begins in Los Angeles in 1981 with Monica and Quincy, both 11-year-olds who share a passion for basketball and a dream to play in the NBA. Growing up next door to each other, they develop a love-hate relationship that lasts through their childhood into high school. Their competitive nature, fueled by their desire to succeed in basketball, causes friction between them, but they remain close due to Quincy's tumultuous home life and his habit of sleeping on Monica's floor during arguments with his parents. As high school ends, Monica and Quincy become a couple, but their relationship is strained when Quincy's father disapproves of him playing basketball at USC instead of focusing on business. This leads to their breakup within a year. Years later, both struggling in their professional careers, they meet again. It is then that they decide to play one final game of one-on-one with high stakes.
