Argumento
Madame Bovary (2000), an adaptation of Gustave Flaubert's classic novel, follows Emma Bovary, a young woman with romantic ideals and aspirations beyond her provincial life. She marries Charles Bovary, a kind but dull country doctor who dotes on her. However, Emma soon grows discontent with her marriage and begins an affair with a local law student, Léon.
