Argumento
Betty, a bank teller, develops a crush on her tennis instructor Mike. After they spend a night together, Mike avoids Betty despite promising to call her. Unbeknownst to Betty, Mike is secretly involved in drugs. Following a botched deal with another dealer, Mike decides to disappear for three months but eventually contacts Betty again. However, he is killed before their scheduled meeting. Betty begins investigating Mike's death by questioning his friends, which leads her into Los Angeles' drug underworld and puts her in danger. She also discovers that Mike had another secret.
