Resumen
Spain, 2003. Clarence, driven by an unexpected discovery, journeys from Huesca's snow-capped peaks to Equatorial Guinea, seeking the tropical island of Fernando Poo, where her father Jacobo and uncle Kilian spent their formative years. Meanwhile, young Kilian, having never ventured beyond his remote Spanish mountain home, embarks in 1953 for Fernando Poo, Spanish Guinee's exotic African island. Here, he toils on a cacao plantation alongside his family, navigating two decades of growth, knowledge, and heartache amidst the island's troubled path to independence.
