Argumento
In early 20th century England, Franek, a talented painter and art forger, accepts a commission from a brothel madam to create a piece that might attract more clientele. His assistant Hazel helps him find models, including Stephanie, a strong-willed political activist recently expelled from university, and her friend Julia, who has escaped her abusive, influential police officer husband. As Franek paints the two women, they explore their sexuality and experience liberation in their repressed society. Meanwhile, Franek develops feelings for Stephanie, while Hazel secretly admires him. The group eventually helps Julia escape her husband's pursuit, allowing Franek to complete his masterpiece.
