Historia
Victoria, an immigrant from Liechtenstein in her mid-forties, falls in love with Max Bauer, an Olympic skier she had idolized as a teenager. When Max's career begins to fade, he moves to New York where Victoria lives. They reunite and it's 'love at first sight'. However, Max reveals his sociopathic nature over time, exploiting Victoria's feelings for him and abusing their relationship. He uses his fading fame to manipulate her, putting her in mortal danger.
