Argumento
On their honeymoon on the island of Lesbos, Sappho Lovell and her artist husband Phil encounter Helene, the daughter of a Russian archaeologist. Sappho becomes drawn to Helene and eventually falls in love with her, despite being married to Phil. The three engage in a complex sexual triangle as Sappho also begins to believe she is the reincarnation of the ancient poetess Sappho, who first gave Lesbos its name.
