Resumen
Based on the non-fiction book by Lisa Belkin, 'Show Me a Hero' is a compelling miniseries that explores the complex political and social landscape of Yonkers in the late 1980s. Directed by David Simon (The Wire) and Paul Haggis (Crash), this seven-part series delves into themes of race, class, power, and the struggle for justice. The story is centered around Nick Wasicsko's tumultuous two-year term as mayor, during which he grapples with the contentious issue of public housing, facing resistance from both sides of the political spectrum.
