Argumento
In the early 1960s, Lydia and her teenage son Sam are forced to leave their home in North Carolina due to Lydia's wild behavior. Lydia's powerful father, who is running for governor, sends them to live in a remote provincial town in Wyoming. Once there, Lydia continues her partying ways while Sam struggles to fit in at Grosvant High School. He befriends Maurey, another student who reads, and the two begin an innocent sexual exploration together with Lydia's encouragement. Maurey becomes pregnant, leading to complications for both her and Sam. Meanwhile, Lydia captures the attention of Hank Elkrunner, a local Blackfoot man, while Lydia's father keeps tabs on them from afar.
