Argumento
In the Welsh town of Aberystwyth in 1911, Solomon, a young Jewish man, arrives to sell fabrics door-to-door. He meets Gaenor, a demure young woman with a strong-willed father and an anti-Semitic brother named Ianto. They fall in love, and she becomes pregnant before learning about Solomon's ethnicity. When anti-Jewish riots erupt, they are forced to flee together but eventually become separated.
