Argumento
In the future, high school students are encouraged to become citizens by joining the military. Johnny Rico, a young recruit, joins the Mobile Infantry and progresses through the ranks as they engage in an interstellar war against an arachnoid species known as 'the Bugs'. The story follows Rico's career from recruit to non-commissioned officer, culminating in his role as an officer in space battles and on Bug-infested planets like Klendathu.
