Daniel, an American student studying abroad in London, joins a mega-church seeking spiritual guidance but feeling uncertain about his commitment. He meets with Head Pastor Bryan who encourages him to stop masturbating and seek the gift of speaking in tongues. Pastor Bryan suggests his daughter Anna could help Daniel find this gift. When they meet alone, Daniel misinterprets Anna's kindness, making a romantic advance which she rejects. Embarrassed, Anna tells her father who asks Daniel to sign a contract promising not to harass her again and offers to pray for him. Despite the awkward situation, Daniel gets baptized, but afterwards Anna acts as if nothing happened, leaving Daniel confused and alone. He ultimately decides to be true to himself.
