Argumento
Lex 'El Animal' Vargas is a promising Puerto Rican boxer living in Queens with his brother Paulie. After their father's death, Lex takes over the family shop but lacks ambition for a professional boxing career. When Paulie is accidentally shot dead by a teenager during an attempted robbery at the shop, Lex decides to turn professional as a way to honor his brother's memory and provide for their mother. Lex's star rises quickly in the boxing world, but his generous nature and lack of experience make him vulnerable to abuse from professionals and his old ghetto entourage.
