Argumento
After a break-in at their Los Angeles home, Michael and Karen Carr call the police. Officer Pete Davis responds to their call, showing particular interest in their case. He helps them install a security system and begins stopping by unannounced, often overstepping his duties. The Carrs initially appreciate Pete's help but soon grow uncomfortable with his presence and intentions. As Pete's fixation on Karen intensifies, he starts causing tension between the couple, leading to arguments and suspicions. The situation escalates into a dangerous obsession, with Pete's actions spiraling out of control.
