Argumento
Shirley, a young woman living in a small seaside town with her grandmother, works on a coconut plantation and dreams of becoming a tattoo artist. She feels trapped in their tiny coastal village but finds solace in her relationship with Jeison, who also works on the farm and free dives for lobster and octopus. During August, when tropical storms hit the coastline, a researcher arrives to study the trade winds emanating from the Intertropical Convergence Zone. The high tides and growing winds bring changes to the village, culminating in a surprise discovery that takes Shirley and Jeison on a journey of self-discovery, confronting them with themes of life and death, loss and memory.
