Argumento
In an alternate history where superheroes emerged in the 1940s and changed the course of history, including preventing the Vietnam War, the story begins with the murder of a former superhero known as The Comedian. This event prompts another retired hero, Rorschach, to investigate, leading him to uncover a plot that threatens all superheroes. As he digs deeper, he discovers a conspiracy involving the president and his brother, who had orchestrated the creation of superheroes to maintain their political power. The story then follows the heroes as they attempt to thwart this conspiracy while grappling with their own personal struggles.
