Argumento
The story follows Manny, Joel, and Jonah, three brothers growing up with their volatile parents in a small house in upstate New York. The eldest two, Manny and Joel, begin to adopt some of their father's aggressive behavior as they grow older. Their mother, Ma, dreams of escaping their current life but feels trapped. Meanwhile, the youngest brother, Jonah, retreats into his own imagined world, drawing fantastical creatures that he sees in his mind's eye.

Resumen
Based on Justin Torres' autobiographical novel of the same name, 'We the Animals' is a coming-of-age story focused on the tumultuous relationship between three brothers and their parents. The film explores themes of masculinity, escapism, and self-discovery through Jonah's unique perspective and his ability to retreat into an imaginary world when reality becomes too much to bear.
