Historia

An American bartender named Bennie (Warren Oates) and his prostitute girlfriend Elita (Isabel Garcia Lopez) learn about a $1 million bounty on the head of Alfredo Garcia, a gigolo who was involved in an affair with the rancher's daughter that resulted in her death. Bennie sees this as an opportunity to improve their lives and sets off with Elita to collect the reward. They follow leads provided by two bounty hunters, Midget (Robert Burton) and Quill (Gig Young), who initially tried but failed to claim the prize themselves. Along the way, Bennie and Elita encounter various dangers and challenges in the Mexican underworld as they search for Alfredo Garcia's body.

Resumen

Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia is a 1974 thriller-western film directed by Sam Peckinpah. The movie follows an unlikely pair on their quest to collect a large bounty, navigating through Mexico's seedy underbelly filled with criminals and dangerous situations. The plot combines elements of classic Westerns with crime noir, showcasing Peckinpah's signature violent style. Despite the grim content, the film is known for its dark humor and unique performances, particularly from Warren Oates as Bennie, a character who starts off seemingly ordinary but becomes increasingly ruthless in his pursuit of the bounty.
