Resumen
Directed by Robert Zemeckis in 2012, 'Flight' is a gripping drama-thriller centered around commercial airline pilot Whip Whitaker. The film explores themes of addiction, denial, and the consequences of one's actions through its portrayal of Whip's struggle with alcoholism and cocaine abuse leading up to an aviation disaster. After performing a miraculous crash landing that saves nearly all passengers, Whip's life spirals out of control as investigators reveal his intoxicated state during the fateful flight. The story builds tension around whether Whip can maintain his composure long enough for the NTSB investigation to conclude and whether he will eventually face criminal charges for his role in the crash.
