Yvonne Strahovski (born Strzechowski on 30 July 1982) is an Australian actress. Born in Australia to Polish immigrant parents, Strahovski speaks Polish and English. After graduating from University of Western Sydney she featured in a number of Australian television shows before winning the starring role of Sarah Walker in the American television series Chuck.

Manhattan Nocturne follows Porter Wren (Adrien Brody), a New York City tabloid writer who becomes embroiled in a dangerous investigation after being approached by a mysterious woman named Caroline (Yvonne Strahovski). Caroline asks Porter to look into her husband Simon's unsolved murder. Despite knowing that digging deeper could jeopardize his job, marriage, and life, Porter is drawn into the case due to his fascination with solving mysteries and his attraction to Caroline.

Resumen

Based on Colin Harrison's novel 'Manhattan Nocturne', this modern film noir tells the story of Porter Wren, a tabloid writer who maintains a double life as a devoted family man. When he is approached by Caroline, the investigation into her husband's murder becomes an obsession for Porter, threatening to unravel his carefully maintained balance between work and home life. The movie explores themes of sexual obsession, blackmail, and the dangers of curiosity.
