Julia Koschitz plays Franziska Dreyer, the devoted wife of Sebastian Pauli (played by Tom Wlaschiha), who is wrongfully convicted for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. Despite his conviction, Franziska believes in her husband's innocence and fights for his release. In a surprising act of commitment, she marries him while he is still incarcerated.

Historia
Jonathan, a 23-year-old man living with his aunt Martha on their farm, also cares for his cancer-stricken father Burghardt.
