Kristin Landen Davis, born February 24, 1965, is an American actress best known for her role as Charlotte York Goldenblatt on HBO's 'Sex and the City' (1998–2004), a role she reprised in two films. She was nominated for Emmys and Golden Globes for this character in 2004. Prior to this, she played Brooke Armstrong on the soap opera 'Melrose Place' (1995–1996). Davis has also appeared on Broadway ('The Best Man', 2012) and West End ('Fatal Attraction', 2014). She is involved in philanthropic work with Oxfam and UNHCR.
