Nathalie Williamsdotter, born in Sweden to parents of Middle Eastern descent, fled her war-torn home country with her cousin Farid during her teenage years. After arriving in Sweden, they were housed by the Swedish migration board in a cabin deep within the woods alongside another refugee family.
