Vasilisa Perelygina is a Russian actress born in Moscow on February 4, 1996. A graduate of VGIK (Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography), she gained international recognition for her starring role as Masha in Kantemir Balagov's critically acclaimed 2019 film Beanpole (original Russian title Dylda), which competed in the Un Certain Regard section at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival. Perelygina began her professional stage career with the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya in 2019, appearing in productions such as Demons of Dostoevsky. Her other notable credits include roles in the television series Kesha dolzhen umeret (2023–2024) and Tayny Kareninoy (2024), establishing her presence in both film and television within Russia.
