Jane de Wet is a talented South African actress who began her career in theatre, winning multiple Best Actress awards before transitioning to screen. Her breakthrough role came in 2019 when she starred as the murdered student Alexis "Lexi" Summerveld in the Showmax original mystery series The Girl from St. Agnes. That same year, she made her film debut with a significant role as Marthella Steenkamp in the feature film Griekwastad, for which she won the Most Promising Young Talent award at the kykNET Silver Screen Film Festival and earned a SAFTA nomination. De Wet's career has continued to thrive with roles in international productions such as the BBC America series The Watch and the horror remake Slumber Party Massacre, as well as the recent feature film Boy Kills World. A graduate of Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Communications, she is also a skilled dancer and has performed in award-winning stage productions.

Nina Milner is a South African actress who starred as the lead character Kate Ballard, a drama teacher and part-time investigator, in the 2019 crime drama series The Girl from St. Agnes.

In the series, her character Kate Ballard sets out to uncover the truth behind the death of a popular student, Alexis "Lexi" Summerveld (played by Jane de Wet), at a prestigious all-girls boarding school in the Midlands of South Africa, after the death is initially ruled an accident.

Milner is also known for her work as a fashion model and other acting roles in projects such as Troy: Fall of a City and The Bang Bang Club.
