Greta Scacchi is an acclaimed Italian-Australian actress known for her versatile performances across international cinema, television, and stage. Joan Chong Chen (born April 26, 1961) is a Chinese American actress, film director, screenwriter and film producer. She became famous in China for her performance in the 1979 film Little Flower and came to international attention for her performance in the 1987 Academy Award-winning film The Last Emperor. She is also known for her roles in Twin Peaks, Red Rose White Rose, Saving Face and The Home Song Stories, and for directing the feature film Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl.

Historia

Judith Wilkes, an Australian reporter, travels to Malaysia to cover the story of Vietnamese boat people refugees. She becomes romantically involved with Kanan and forms a friendship with Lady Minou Hobday, who regularly visits 'Turtle Beach' hoping her own children might one day arrive there secretly. Accompanying Minou one night, Judith witnesses a brutal massacre by Malaysian soldiers at Turtle Beach, inspiring her to expose the horrors of the internment camps at Bidong.
