Historia
The movie 'Requiem for a Dream' follows four main characters who all face their own struggles with addiction in Coney Island, New York. Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn), a retired widow, becomes addicted to diet pills after trying to lose weight to appear on her favorite self-help TV show. Her son Harry (Jared Leto) and his friend Tyrone (Marlon Wayans) become drug dealers with dreams of making big money, but their lives spiral out of control due to heroin addiction.
