Tara Slone, originally known for her acting roles including 'Night of the Demons 3' (1996), has had a multifaceted career spanning music, broadcasting, and sports commentary. She was the lead singer of Juno-nominated band Joydrop and appeared on Rockstar: INXS. Post-2010, Slone hosted Breakfast Television Calgary before becoming a regular contributor to Sportsnet, covering various sports. Notably, she was the first woman to host a national NHL show, Rogers Hometown Hockey with Ron MacLean (2013-2021). She also helmed Top of [HER] Game and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award in 2021.
