Born as Anastasiia Pustovit on August 27, 1994, in the seaside town of Skadovsk, Ukraine, she moved with her family to the village of Nemishayevo near Kyiv at a young age. Her formal training began at the Kyiv College of Theater and Cinema, followed by studies at the prestigious Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television, where she graduated in 2018.
Pustovit quickly established herself as a versatile talent on both stage and screen. She became a member of the Left Bank Theatre in Kyiv and gained international recognition for her breakout role in the film When the Trees Fall (2018), for which she won the Silver Peacock for Best Actress at the International Film Festival of India. Her career continued to flourish with significant roles in the popular series Early Swallows and the psychological thriller Between Us (2021). Following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she relocated to Germany and joined the ensemble of the Münchner Kammerspiele, where she continues to perform in contemporary European theater productions.
