Born as Anastasiya Vladimirovna Panina on January 15, 1983, in Severo-Zadonsk, Tula Region (then part of the USSR), the actress grew up in a hardworking family; her father was a miner and her mother worked at a poultry farm. Before pursuing a career in the arts, she was an accomplished athlete, earning the title of Candidate for Master of Sports in rhythmic gymnastics.
Her acting journey began in earnest when she graduated from the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre School in 2007, where she studied under the guidance of Roman Kozak and Dmitry Brusnikin. That same year, she joined the troupe of the Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre, a stage she continues to perform on today. While she gained early cinematic recognition for her role in the 2007 adventure film Skalolazka i posledniy iz sedmoy kolybeli, she became a household name across Russia for her lead role in the popular sitcom Fizruk.
In her personal life, Panina has been married to fellow actor Vladimir Zherebtsov since 2009. The couple, who have one daughter named Alexandra, frequently collaborate professionally, including in the 2024 drama "Why Do You?" (Pochemu ty?), where she portrays Nina Bulygina.
